Jennifer and
Jonathan's Page
;)
- This page is
dedicated to my little people, Jennifer and Jonathan.
We'll put a couple of pictures up and tell you a little
bit about them. I will update pictures as I get them.
;)
Jennifer
Jen is my little princess.
Listen to her talk now and she thinks she is all grown up. But
she will always be the little curly, blonde haired 4-year-old
squirt that I remember so fondly. She turned 16 in January (God!)
and will be getting her license (OH MY GOD!). So she has been
being VERY nice to old Dad.....hmmm....wonder why? She lives in
Asheville, North Carolina with her mother (my ex-wife...Thank
God!). Which kind of sucks since we are in Kansas City and that
is quite the drive for a little visit. But we fly her out for
visits when we can. She would probably want to kill me if she
knew I was putting up this picture. Because, it a picture from
1996! I mean come on Dad...what are you thinking?! But here it is
anyway. As soon as I get a copy of this year's picture I will put
it up and yeah I think I'll put one of those little, curly headed
4 year old ones as well...hehe. So here you go. If you don't hear
from me any more after this you will know why. Jennifer has hired
a hitman and taken me out.....
;) ;)
So there are the
pictures......a now and then kind of thingy. The one on the left
is Jennifer's school picture from 1996. The one on the right is
Jennifer and I at Atlantic Beach, North Carolina around 1987. See
what I mean about the curly haired, little squirt?
;)
Jonathan
Jonathan is my little
dude. He just came to live with us when I came back from Okinawa.
He's a little smart guy. A little too smart sometimes. He
remembers some of the craziest stuff. I mean things from when he
was 4 or 5 that I have no idea what he is talking about. Some of
my most fond memories are of coming home when we were stationed
in New Orleans. He was about 2 at the time. I would come home
from work and as soon as I got in the door, he would come running
down the hall full speed (there isn't any other speed at that
age) yelling "Daddy! Daddy!" and plow into my legs. I
used to love that. But he is 10 now and is growing up way too
fast. I can remember bringing him home from the hospital holding
him in the crook of my arm....and now he's my little man. How
time flies....... Here are a couple of pictures of Jonathan.
;) ;)
And there you have it. The
one on the left is this years school picture (1997). The one on
the right is from the running down the hall era......he liked
Daddy's "Marine Hat".
Alright, I got a new
picture. I just got it today. It's a soccer picture of Jonathan.
It's looking like such the little man now days. His team kicked
much butt. They were number one in their division. Their record
was 8-0 for the season. It was his first year, so he had a lot to
learn. But he worked hard and has done pretty well. He'll be much
better next year after we practice for a bit.
;)
;)
And here is one just for
the heck of it. It's of me and the two of them....
;)
This is from Halloween
around 1989-1990. Cool lookin' demon huh? And I told you Jennifer
was my little princess. And then there is Pumpkin Man. We had a
lot of fun that year.
