Gary &
Angela Wedding Day March 23, 1997
;)
This is Angela's page. She
is the love of my life. I am very thankful that she came along
when she did. I was at a point in my life when I was going
nowhere. Going out and drinking and raising hell all of the time.
Not doing a thing to better myself or anyone else. You might call
it a slump. I had been divorced for several years and my children
where about 400 miles away from me. And then I met my love
Angela. It was New Years Eve of 1995. I was bumming around and
decided to go to the party that was being held at the Staff club
on base. I had all intentions of just getting as drunk as
possible and being generally socially unacceptable. I was sitting
at a table with friends of mine and we saw Angela and a former
friend of hers sitting at another one. So we dragged them over
so that they could join us. Well, one thing lead to another and I
started picking at Angela (by this time I was in rare form). God
only knows why she had anything to do with a drunk ass like me.
This is even harder to understand considering she doesn't drink
and was sober as a judge. To make a long story short we hit it
off and I called her a day or so later when I sobered up. I was
afraid that I had made a huge ass of myself and that she would
not be interested in talking to me. To my surprise she actually
sounded happy to hear from me. We agreed to a date a couple of
days later and the rest is history. And there is a lot of
history left for us to still write.
In June of 1998 we
welcomed the arrival of Kyle and Cole. Needless to say they have kept Angela
very busy and life gets a bit hectic at times. But Angela says she loves every
minute of it all. We now awaiting the birth of Logan who will forever be the
baby of the family. Angela says this is it. (HA! That didn't quite
work out as we originally planned!! hehe) I can't imagine why.
With me, 3 boys (soon to be 4!), 3 cats, 3 dogs, and a house to run. That doesn't seem like much
to me.
Angela graduated in
1998 with her Bachelors of Science in Education and has postponed getting her
Masters degree until I have finished mine. So she will pursue her Masters
in Information Systems Technology at Keller when I finish mine in about 3 1/2
years and Kyle and Cole are in school and Logan will be in Pre-School. She says
she will only take classes during the day because she doesn't want to miss any
of the activities and such of the boys. She has always said family is more
important than anything else.
I love you Angela.
